Just got done re doing this old meat gun with a new purpose and a new lease on life. Don’t run across many from the 50’s in 3” Magnum.

Thank you! When I rebuild it last year I did a flex tab conversion with a new chrome bolt, slide, forend assembly, carrier lifter, 1100 carrier spring, police sear spring, Volquartsen extractor, aluminum follower, 2 shot extension, mesa tactical polymer side saddle, 18.5” barrel, jumbo big head safety, TLR-1 light.
This year I did a synthetic forend and a Magpul stock.
It shoots great and should be good for another 60 years.

Thank you to everybody. It was a fun project. I’m was happy the way it turned out and surprised how well it functions. Someone’s grandfathers old meat gun turned into a formidable weapon.
