Will a rifled choke tube be worth the money .will they increase the accuracy of my shotgun when shooting slug. Going to shoot foster slugs @ deer .range should be about 40 to 70 yards from 17 feet tall tree stand .some may be somewhat closer. They cross the fence about 12 feet to the right from base of tree stand .shotgun has 18.5 inch barrel ,benelli m4 . Tree stand ladder stand inside big cedar tree .

Not much. Don't use Foster slugs. Use Brennekes, they are the best non-sabot types slugs made. If you absolutely must use a Foster-type slugs, use Federal Tru-Ball.

I have not tried them but find it about 50/50 for people saying they work or don't work.   Whatever you decide be sure to practice and sight in from the tree stand.  Shooting down or up makes a difference and it could be a lot with that heavy of a projectile depending on the range

Rifled barrels are possibly worth the money.
My experience of choke tube versions, better to spend your money on something else. The one I tried made the gun shoot about 2 foot low & 1 foot to the right, at about 25 metres!

I am getting about 1/2" groups CTC (3 shot, 50 yards ) using my super nova tactical cyl bore and Remington sluggers. I don't like other slug brands in foster style because they donut and drag. The sluggers simply expand a bit radially,  compact longitudinally, and penetrate. Now, against auto body etc. Brenneke allbthe way. The sluggers are still very very soft lead.
