After we had the talk about the 12 gauge shells a few days ago, I went to the Police
IMP/CY for me HD 870.
I heard some Guy in Scottville Michigan had some for sale so I sent Him a note and
it worked out where my barrel arrived today.
People, if You haven't seen one of these LEO barrels you are in for a grin.
The hone job inside this barrel is beautiful. It looks like the inside of a new engine
cylinder block but much more. WOW
It is really a nice piece, way to go Remington.
Can't get to the range until Saturday, I will let all know how it shoots.
Have a great evening.
And once more I say, thanks J.D.

Yes, 18 1/2. And as J.D. pointed out, the LEO barrel cost less then the express 18 1/2.
Good deal for us.

Do they come with a bead sight or are there other options?

Just on J.D.'s store there 18.5" barrel with Meprolight Tritium Sights

18.5" barrel with front sight with protective wings.

18.5 barrel with Meprolight bead.

These are just part of J.D.'s offerings. J.D.'s store is where You will get
Your best deal. You can take my word on that.
My new barrel will get an XS big dot sight for Christmas, I love my Wife.
I have an XS on the factory cylinder bore barrel and really like it.

Hey everybody, I’ve been thinking. 🤔 I have an older Wingmaster I’ve had since new. It was my first shotgun. It is still like new too. I’m thinking about getting an 18 1/2 inch barrel for it, just because, why not? Every shotgun capable of it should have one, don’t you think?

Anyway, should I get one to match the beautiful glossy blued finish? Or, should I get something else?

Of course, I’ll be buying it from JD, no doubt about it.

Thanks in advance...

Neither. I have other guns for HD, and I don’t hunt anymore. 😢

I just want to practice shooting the 870 at the range with the short barrel. As I posted elsewhere, I also want to get a Police trade in 870 and build that into another HD gun. That said, my Wingmaster has a lot of life still in it.

Optionally, I could revamp the Wingmaster with the short barrel, and a host of spring replacements and a Flexitab kit, and make it a HD shotty AND, a range gun too.

Decisions.  🤔

Reason I ask, I have an 18.5 cy barrel with an XS big dot sight for sale.
$125.00    The barrel is 6 years old and the XS 2 years old.
All are in good shape.
