Thanks J.D. for all the help.  Had a few health issues; finally got out to the range... 100 rounds of birdshot, 25 rounds 00 buckshot, 20 rounds of low recoil slugs!  Shotgun performed flawlessly.  Accurate, and the recoil absorbing stock is excellent.

The gun was my 25 year old Remington 870 Marine Magnum- new barrel with Trijicon Tritium Rifle sights, SBE Remington Tactical follower, Mesa Tactical LEO stock with hydraulic buffer, M-4 Limbsaver Recoil Pad, Mesa SureShell Polymer Shotshell Carrier, Remington OEM Law Enforcement forend, Wilson Jumbo Head safety, Magazine extension bracket with rail, Surefire X300 Weapon Light. Not pictured; Tactical Link-Stealth Bungee Single Point QD weapon sling. IMG_0380.jpg

Nice gun.
