I am having my wife the nurse make up a new first aid kit for the truck to be used daily for emergencies, day to day small mishaps and GHB use, but also provide a large variety of stuff which may be needed during an extended stay in the woods hunting and all that entails. I want it to be in a bag which can be clipped to the outside of my GHB, or worn as a fanny pack. First place to start is her selecting items and my looking at bag options.

Always a good idea.  I'm amazed at the stuff that is available now for 1st Aid compared to what was around 40 years ago.  It's one of those areas where we have really made significant progress, IMO.

The go bag in my truck is mostly a big med kit, with a few other things like food and such. I've used this bag several times for small emergencies, mostly scrapes from 4-H softball. I pick up what I can at local thrift shops and dollar stores for the pile of go bags I have.
