Some fun and interesting videos:

And this one is particularly interesting because it's just about full auto fire rates with a perfectly legal, non-NFA slide fire. The operating principle is that the recoil helps you operate the trigger. He has a bit of trouble getting started, but once he adjusts to the extra weight of the Beta mag, he smooths out:

And if you only have time to watch one, this is it - three full, 100 round magazines in full auto. Notice in particular the amazing muzzle control.

No but I've fired hundreds of 20& 30 round mags through an M16A1 as fast as I could switch mags, until they ran out, then reloaded them and did it again. You DO NOT turn in live ammo. I don't know how [confused]the extra ammo cans got ordered when we went to the range, [wink] (must have been the clerk in the S-4... [sneaky]  [comp]) but as Unit Armorer it was my job to shoot 'em all up. [cool]I replaced the barrel on my A1 twice in 3 years.

WTF.   That is pure "Erotica".   I should have not watched these.   It is 01:24 and I now have to go take a cold shower.  Hope I can get to sleep after that.

Llike entropy I never had the opportunity to do the beta-mag, but have dumped many a 20 or 30 rounder with one long pull on the trigger.  And regarding not turning in ammo....Once after a field expedition that got way too much rain we had stacks of belted 7.62 stuff for our M-60s left.  Orders were go shoot it up and turn in the brass.  so two of us each took a 60 and went to a secluded place with a jeep and trailer then just started firing belt after belt with the 60s held so the brass and links flew into the trailer.  Quite a waste of taxpayer money.

I cannot go into detail specifics as it might have been called trespassing on government property,  I called it sneeking into a sweet hunting area we used a few times, but this was way back in the late 70s so statute of limitations has probably ran out, lol. Actually I really don't think we were actually on their property, but just off it, we never did cross any fence or gates But I cannot tell you how many hundreds of 06 rounds we found dumped on a National Guard training area up north, any Michigander can probably know where I mean. We found hundreds of AP, tracer and ball rounds. got to say it was sure fun burning it all up over the years, lol.
